V5 Firmware Delay and Status Report

Hi all,

We are still waiting on IOS approval. Android got approved over the weekend. It may take another day or so. We are now shooting for a Wednesday, Sept 2nd 2026 release.

In the mean time:

  • We have updated our NCAAF scores to be update 100% faster

  • We have increased the LIVE ALERT functionality (check to see if there is a score) to be checked every 20 seconds instead of every 60 seconds. So you should be seeing quicker/faster live alerts when they actually happen.

  • We increased the frequency at which games update by 75% (think 2 mins down to around 1 minute from live TV) for the scroll. GLANCE CLASSIC and LED V2 already had this update.

We will use this thread to keep everyone updated once the IOS app is ready.

Also, I wanted to shout out author: 'Olskoolgamer', he made a super cool 'game-day' app for the GDN. We made some slight changes to it, but its an incredible idea for an app and it is what GDN is all about.

Hoping to release this update to everyone soon.
